The best thrash guitar

The "non-Dime" ML's can be decent guitars.

I Have a Dean USA custom shop ML that's a really nice guitar.

I've got a Korean-made arch top ML that's my favorite player.
Id probably prefer these too, not really a fan of Artist sig gear but some of the Dimes do look pretty dope

My fellow guitarist has ML Select and I must say, it's a fantastic guitar. Looks good, playability is awesome. The only drawback for me is a shorter scale, I am used to 25,5.

That one is slick AF!

Have you thought about something extended range? Why down tune when you already are? Here's my latest:

Also, if you want something a bit different check out the Carvin v220 or Guild Nova models. I believe my v220 is 25.5" scale, if I'm not mistaken.

You may not like it, but this is what peak thrash guitar looks like.

Absolutely. My LP and SG do it with ease. The amp probably has 90% to do with it. A $200 Squire will thrash out with the right amp.
Of course. It's possible to drink champagne from a beer mug. And to eat sushi with a shovel. Any guitar will do, but ... :)

edit: Martin Schirenc plays Tele

I love Les Pauls and thrash!
But i get it, you want something more "pointy".
Guild X-82 Nova with stop tail from the 80s would be awesome imo.

...but i would also drink beer from a champagne glass, in case of need ;)

Edit: oh, i've just seen that Funk'n Metal mentioned the Nova already..

That Guild looks great and that Jackson of @Exo-metal is awesome. I would like to have Kahler trem, but that is a problem in Europe, not that many on the market.

A Hamer "scapter" or "scepter v" with the boomerang inlays
https://www.buddlejagarden.co.uk/hamer/explor.htm...not sure if the came with kahler too.

Ryan Waste's (Municipal Waste) flying M signature guitar has a kahler trem, but probably very hard to get your hands on one of these, since there were only a few of them made afaik:
