I'm sure that's true, but if this amp does justice to what it's supposed to be then some degree of that type of growl should be there (and I hear it in the demos of it so far thankfully), just darker and fatter vs amps like the Shiva's and XTC's IME not really having it, but also voiced on the darker, fatter side, but smoother. I'd also think (maybe I'm wrong) if any of those changes you mentioned would at all take it away from that distinctive Bogner mod/Snorkler sound, but yeah I wish I had the technical skill and knowledge you do so that I could voice amps to be just what I want. I just have never been a tech savvy kind of guy at allAt the risk of sounding like a broken record, it'll be easy enough to swap out a few resistors and caps in the Snorkler to give it more of that Marshall mid-range growl. The slope resistor, the coupling caps, the bright cap, the cathode resistors and bypass caps, and the NFB resistor are all ways to shift the focus a bit.
