The Guitar Guru Network (The fake tracking number scam goes on)

I received a response from him saying:
"Hey Ian. Reverb lists them that way despite being a pre sale. We’ve addressed this with them numerous times and apologize for the confusion.
The Guitar Guru Network Mar 07, 2022 07:32 PM"

He couldn't even keep the lie straight in the context of our conversation thread. What happened to "The one we have seems to be spoken for as it must have been a pre order." Even though their Reverb site had two listed.

He still has the head for sale, only one now, poor sucker who bought the other is going to. I think I'll shoot JP an email from Mezzabarba letting him know about this guy. Not sure anything will transpire, but better effort than responding to TGGN.

The Guitar Guru Network = The Guitar Drop Shipping Network "We don't have guitar gear, but we'll lie and say you'll receive it soon!" or "Um, my dog ate your amp and I have to order one from the manufacturer!"

Here's more of our conversation: all shared with Amex, what unfortunately happened here is no recourse with Reverb, I made a trade offer (on Reverb messaging) which we then negotiated after being referred to Keith by someone named "Grant" who sent me to Keith's cell. Keith then sent me an invoice, which I paid immediately and I sent him confirmation of payment, which he was then supposed to ship a used Friedman Metro D immediately, then I would ship my Fender trade. My feelings were, I was in good hands based on the number of great reviews there....my mistake; so now trying to get Amex to reverse charges:

Such a waste of time, sorry man!

Crazy because he also has Facebook store and a regular one with great reviews and people. I don’t understand how this keeps going? I know a number of people who are currently fly ordering from him straight off of Facebook, surely he’s providing something? Sounds like he knows somebody to get away with this shit.

Finally received my credit today for the charge from The Guitar Guru Network, Keith never responded or replied to Amex for the dispute I filed, even after saying in our conversations that he would/did credit/refund. Lesson learned for me, hopefully my experience with this company helps others. I will say this again, very happy I trusted my gut and didn't ship out the trade, otherwise I'd be out a USA Fender Tele that I'd never see again. POS...

I am glad you got your money back. I will never do any business with that guy ever again. I would rather pay more somewhere else.

Yep, sure does.
Yeah Reverb doesn't give a f--k about this guy, and frankly, they don't care about much these days. I had a seller post revenge feedback after I left a four star review on the product they sent me and when I contacted Reverb support they told me this was allowed per their policies. When I asked to speak with a supervisor they refused and ended the chat.

Really surprised/saddened to see The Guitar Guru Network is still getting away with this crap.
I'm not. Reverb is owned by Etsy now. It used to be a musician's community run by and for musicians. Now it's another huge corporate conglomerate solely focused on shareholder returns. It's a shame. Someone should start a competitive company.

So it appears TGGN is now listing on Gbase, which seems to have no review system, and a newish website of their own. So either people do their own due diligence and search a forum or see google reviews, which seem to be stacked positive as well, this will continue.

You mean the scammer from The Guitar Guru network Keith Beres is now listing on gbase.com? The same The Guitar Guru Network and Keith Beres that scammed people with the drop shipping bs on reverb for years? In no way am I creating this post to just make keywords for google to pick up on.
