Basically was wondering about the pentode/triode. How much extra for that?

I think the pentode/triode is a mandatory option. It allows some of the crushing bottom end to be removed and the ability to turn up the power amp some more for a different grind to the amp. I find myself using triode (less bottom end) the most. The CCV is nothing short of a spectacular amp.

A killer option would be making Channel 1 Aldrich style and Channel 2 stock (Jose style).

Excuse my naivety, but how would this change channel 1 (in theory)?

I think its safe to say if you wanted it it could be included. Its a Switch, ties the plates and screens together I beleive. I never liked it on other amps. Havcent heard it on the CCV yet. There is one at my house with it. I guess I should try it.

Your avatar frightens me. Is it supposed to. I remember an old Razzles commercial from the early 70's that gave nme nightmares. I think he had a hat like yours and wore white.

Well, if you try it let me know. The avatar is from 'A Clockwork Orange'...one of my favorite movies. And no, it's not supposed to frighten...I thought it was more of a welcoming gesture...

Haha, my Dad made me watch when I was young, too...I had a class in college, 'Film Psychology' and the teacher played just about every major Stanley Kubrick film...quite the lessons in human psychology...

nick, the ccm is basically a ccv with some tweaks to the board, right?

it's different, no zener's like the jose stuff, different filtering I believe, some other stuff to...

it's tighter, more edge to the gain and a bit stiffer and tighter on the bottom end for heavier styles .... the only two that exist were modified ccv pcb boards that Mark did, one got stolen the other belongs to Chris Schmidt, there is talk that mark may model the ccm after the plexi circuit he is doing for me now, OR the plexi i have in my possession now which is the nastiest aldrich mod i've ever heard. Ask some of the guys at the fortin fest, they heard it.. amp is viscious!!!

DISCLAIMER - I don't speak for the Cameron camp , but i speak from experience...The ccm pretty much doesn't exist yet so take this post with a grain of salt and understand if you order one it will more than likely be a longer wait for sure.
