Not really, I just hate overpriced fanboy guitar crap marketed with the name of a guy who has never made any interesting music on it. And I hate multi fx. If it has a menu on it it better say "Waffle House" on the front. I guess this might trigger some but it's not like I said 99 percent of all solos are crap or something.
Now I gotta make a Waffle House Pedal ................................... with a battery clip

I like it but I also know, owning as many pedals as I do that there are better/safer options on the market. I'm not going to knock anyone for buying it, because I do like seeing something unique that you're not likely to see someone in person with but it is a wee bit overpriced and the quality isn't decent enough to justify, regardless.

This company (Jam) probably spent everything they earned from their highest selling pedals to bet on Greg Koch's name. Greg is a big name, but not THAT big enough to move units if we're being honest. I mean, he's just not a household name and he's not even as big as Shawn Tubbs or Andy Woodshed who may not be a household name but yet are able to move units just as much as Van Halen's name would.

Again, the huge Cock-Monster looks so appetizing to every one here but I'd rather have seen some original new circuits that aren't clones, modded revisions or multipedals built of existing shit. I think it would have done better for them but meh. Not my problem.

By "wee bit overpriced" if you mean like 1500 bucks overpriced I would agree. 100 percent on better options. I'm sure it has some really good tones but you as you said there will always be some of the fx where a better selection could be made so might as well just buy separates, especially at that price.

I remember the custom pedalboard enclosures Pete Cornish used to build; IIRC, he'd take the pedal guts and rehouse them in his custom enclosures, but they were custom one-offs.

Yeah the difference being he was selling pedals to the biggest names in the business, not wildwood guitar's biggest demo guy. Cornish stuff still commands pretty serious cash to this day. The name is immediately identifiable. Not that many dudes have heard of JAMS.

well it's all analog, hand made by a small pedal company based in Greece.

I think I'd try a boss ME-90 for $349.99 first; if I thought I needed a mfx.

boss me-90 guitar multi-effects pedal 1

I thought that way about the ISP Theta Pro DSP Michael Sweet for its price new ($1600?) vs digital modelers...until I got one used less than half price of new.... it's basically a preamp with effects in a pedal, two EQs, and it's '80s hair metal in a box!
I was just gonna say Boss ME-50 as I have one from early days lying aroung 😂

could put it on one of those candy metallic purple enclosures
What's the chance on some pearl white lettering? Not sure why you ever even give me the time of day, I'm always broke as hell, especially right now.....

I live in the southeast, land of the two Waffle Houses at one highway exit (not kidding). I travel for work and am well versed in Waffle House.

You need to make a pedal called “scattered, smothered, n covered”. If you are ever lucky enough to taste Waffle House hash browns served scattered, smothered n covered then you’ll get it.

I actually stopped there this morning. Coffee and hash browns scattered, smothered n covered. That was it. :2thumbsup:
