Im interested to know how the Holy Diver sounds in the LP... Im not fully satisfied with the Custom Custom, i think theres too much midrange and smoothness happening.. needs more bite!

Il probably end up just buying another Suhr Aldrich humbucker, theyre about £30 cheaper than the BK's and sound great too!

You know, the BK's are just awsome..... I mean, the Aldriches I had were the noisiest damn things I had ever heard. But both the BK's I've had were absolutely SILENT even at the highest gain settings. And they sound GOOD.

Thanks mang. My wife went to bed really early tonight, so i've only been playing at real low volume, but so far, it seams to be fairly balanced. Pretty much perfect output. Tight, but not too tight. I'll know more tomorrow.

Wow the Aldrich's were noisey?? Are you positive they weren't wired incorrectly or grounded correctly? Mine even at the highest gain settings are silent in my GMW!

Did yours have covers?

Thanks man. It's black with nickel hardware. They went to town on the VOS thing too. It really does look like it's about 25 years old, except when you look at the fingerboard and frets.

Maybe they weren't installed correctly. I didn't install them, but a tech did for the previous owner of that guitar. But even the stock pickups in the LP's are noisier than the BK's.

Thanks guys. This is the guitar I have wanted for the longest time. Nickel hardware, beefy neck, VOS, (I love the worn black Custom look with black pickups)......just love the thing. I found out today that this was a limited run too! Only so many made in '07, so that's a bonus!
