It didn't come from Mark, he has contributed nothing. Not your business my friend. We did it under the radar as we will do the rest. Last thing I need is guys getting bent out of shape that this guy got his lost amp before that guy, quite frankley I am not going to be bashed for doing the right thing in what one guy or another perceives the wrong order. If thats the case I won't do it at all . You can imagine the records of who did what when with Mark are not too good. Didn't you get a Mark modded amp recently btw?

I know it's not my business.... You were the one who mentioned it and I was curious since it would seem to be a major event. No need to justify anything. Curiosity based on what you wrote was my reaction.

Yes I had Mark mod two amps for me. Both are killer.

Fair enough, the reason above is the reason I am not naming names.

Question for you? Did Mark mod those amps for you this year (2011)?

Its not your problem as you have no deal with me but Mark certainly did and any mods needed to go through me. We specifically put this in the deal we agreed too so he did not handle anyones money as his track record is not too snappy and I need no more black eyes to the Cameron drama. Plus 50% of the mods is supposed to go to the Cameron Amps bottom-line. Your never gonna believe this but Mark didn't mention it.

This goes way back before you and Chris and others. The Standel guys too. I think it's sad as I liked Mark and found him personable, fun, insecure, talented and misguided. Bottom line is exactly as you describe, he cannot be directed. He is a total flake. If you come to Monterey for a visit or the bay to visit the old hang, you should come and play the amp that ended it all for me. I think you would love it. Not for you but a killer amp indeed.

The amp I have does not matter as it isn't available and not being produced. Just a custom made one off by a great amp builder and it is amazing but not for everyone.Much better for me than any Cameron I have owned or played including the CCV.

It's not the drama around the "lost amps" that's the issue; it's the Internet history around the whole past that's problematic for Brad and Co. trying to launch this brand. 90% of the potential customers out there do not spend their time on Internet forums and understand the history vs. the future of the brand. I would hate to think how many potentially interested consumers simply Google "Cameron Amps" or "CCV" and get directed to the hundreds of negative threads on the Internet about Mark and the past. I believe there would be real value in distancing the new business from the old nonsense....
