You notice how well priced they are used? Great guitar used.

Ya, crazy! I got this one mint condition for $800, not a mark on it...it'll hold that value, so I can't lose down the road.Vrad":00b7d said:I got my Axis from him...

At one of the larger music stores in Toronto, the manager says when he orders a guitar from them a guy in the shop making the guitar calls him to verify the order is correct (saws and stuff going on in the background) he says he's never seen a company pay so much attention to their product. Made in the USA and not expensive...something is almost wrong here.Vrad":e5990 said:I was shocked... Doubt Fender or Gibson would ever do that for you.

Actually I work during the day at a company like that, my boss encourages everyone to go the extra mile and take pride in what you do, even if you can't get as much done that day, do it really right...the boss at EBMM sounds like a guy that gets it.Vrad":7f85c said:That's too cool!

I guess the reason you get that is because they aren't as big as Fender and Gibson.
Not money driven enough.Vrad":d89df said:That's why EVH left them.. LOL!

In the good old days, when everyone thought Marshall, Gibson, Fender made their best stuff...is kinda like where EBMM is hanging now, not too big yet.Vrad":de520 said:Randy Van Sykes":de520 said:Not money driven enough.Vrad":de520 said:That's why EVH left them.. LOL!
Exactly!!

One day expensive EBMM guitars will be made in China...actually maybe by then it will be Africa.

Yup... Well it may not happen. They've been around a long time. They're still made in the USA... well except for the OLP's which are made in Korea.
I made the mistake of selling my Axis I owned years ago, so I recently bought three to make up for it....guess you'll be buying nine.SgtThump":9f4c2 said:Nice! EBMMs are some of my all time favorite guitars. I had three electrics (Morse, Luke, Axis SS) and a bass (Stingray.) Unfortunately, I sold them like a moron. Wish I still had all of those back.
That's why we use a Fender Bassman and a Marshall Superbass for guitar.OneArmedScissor":4cb16 said:I played a Stingray today. Nice, I like!
Also, it was the first time I've played any nice bass lamps. Bass lamps are nicer than guitar lamps. Maybe I just have a crappy ear for bass, but I didn't even have to touch the EQs, and the sounds on any of the amps were just more "right" than 99/100 guitar amps are to me, no matter what I do to them. Guitar sucks!
