Does historical events justify someones hatred for another today? No.

Only if those others long for the era when those historical events first took place. I can hate on someone loudly proclaiming to be a neo-nazi for example. Same goes for those pushing the whole MAGA thing too hard. I'm not quite sure what GREAT is supposed to represent for them but based on the ideologies of most I meet it's pretty easy to hate on them too. The relative kind of hate. Not literal.

Any examples you'd want to share? Real examples not "neo-nazis" who are 15yos posting on 4chan.

Also it's the first time I hear about "relative hate"  i.e. modern term for justified hate I presume. I.e.yeah, but I got my reasons so it's different.

From the guy who said Islam had nothing to do with the attack. OK, Pollyanna. Have a nice day.
It’s human instinct to want to categorize the good guy/bad guy and go kick ass, but the real world is nuanced. You’re getting played when you fall into that trap.

And yeah, I maintain that the impetus was not Islam. Perhaps you didn’t notice that 99% of the world’s Muslims are not sending missiles into Israel. The Israeli brutality towards the Palestinians is likewise not due to the Jewish faith, even though one could make that claim.

Listen, comparing MAGA to the reasons that lead to some of these horrific historical and current events already makes you look like an ignorant person. That's not the kind of argument you bring to the table when you talk about wars and people dying.

I stopped reading quite a few pages back but I saw that the Egyptian government contacted netinyahoo over 7 days prior saying something big was gonna go down….interesting…they said his reaction to the Egyptians was complete indifference…

Netanyahu has been trying to invent an excuse to invade Iran for at least a solid decade. Sounds like he has it.

Damn, where do I even start?

I'm Palestinian, from the west bank, not gaza. So don't shit on me too hard. Growing up we were taught to hate the Jews. My parents always showed us propaganda movies that showed what awful things Jews did to us. The village I am from went under Israeli occupation after the 6 day war. There were land confiscations and what not, my parents ended up fleeing to South America because of the conflict. None of the other Arab countries would have wanted to take them in. Unfortunately Palestinians have a habit of causing all sorts of trouble, for example in places like Jordan and Lebanon. In Lebanon multi generational Palestinians still have limited rights. So the idea that "Palestinians should just go to another arab country!" doesn't work. Anyways, rambled a bit.

The Palestinians who cause the least trouble happen to be the Christians. Saying that what has happened has nothing to do with Islam is incorrect. I come from a muslim background, and while my parents were not particularly religious, it still influences culture. Islam and arabization was the worst thing that could have happened to the middle east. It replaced our religion (except the christians who stuck to their guns), our culture to an extent, our language, etc. Sometimes I feel like God is playing that game Civilization. lol.

This is a terrible tragic event, and Hamas just sealed the fate of 2 million Palestinians. Israel has told Gazans to flee, however they can't exactly flee as the area is blockaded, although supposedly specific instructions were given. I don't know the details. The idea of Palestine might have just been thrown out the window. I have always dreamt of going back to my homeland. But that wasn't possible in the past, definitely not now and likely ever.

Anyways, I am sure someone will accuse me of trying to appease the westerns by saying this. Islam is indeed a death cult. I'm not very political, I rarely talk about politics these days as the only thing I care about is music. I barely even have a presence online. I think the middle east would have been far better off if Islam never took hold. My opinion. 🤷‍♀️

Say what you will to me.
Im sure there are millions like you that just want to live their lives.
Horrible situation. the extremists of any organization always ruin everything for everyone.
this really sucks and its really scary.
good luck out there in the coming months. Im sure it wont be easy.

I have nothing against you or your people.
Its a shame of the way hatred is passed on from generation to generation.

We have our own raw racial issues going back over 350 years.

I grew up in a diverse neighborhood in Brooklyn NY.
I learned to get along with everyone and look past any differences
I treat everyone as equal until they cross me. Then i just stay away from them.

Im most cases its the governments or leadership that go astray.

Soldiers get sent out to do horrible things. Theyre just following orders to stay alive themselves.
