Same. Things changed though. Had I known then what I know now I would've just sucked it up and bought an AR but that was more expensive than AKM patterns at the time. Part of me wishes I had just stayed fully vested in FAL's but I don't really make the kind of cash to feed them so I cut it down to cheap steel cased. No more necked cartridges on my reloading bench meant a lot less work.

I prefer bullpups except for long range. One of my AR is made in Israel, along with one of my PDW. 5.56, 7.62, 9mm, 10mm, and 50 BMG.

FWIW, I like to think I am responsible, safe and smart with my weapons, but that S&W 500 is a beast, it's the only firearm I've ever owned that scares me every time I pull the trigger. The flash around the cylinder and out of the barrel and the recoil...nothing else like it IME, I can't imagine the snubnose version :LOL:

I have no doubt the many volunteers and soldiers in the field have the same mindset. Bushwacking over 1000 innocents was precisely the way to get the Israeli war hammer brought down with all it's might.

The book of Zechariah, chapter 12, talks at length about a time where all the nations are gathered against Jerusalem and do not prevail. So perhaps a worldwide conflict will result from this massacre and we are witnessing the beginning. Let's hope and pray shalom will ultimately prevail.

So holding all of Gaza hostage is okay? Killing innocent civilians is okay? Isn't that what you're mad about? Or only when Hamas does it?

Kick them all out to Egypt and annex the land. Anyone who wishes to become an Israeli citizen and be productive and peaceful should be invited to stay. Send the rest of them to Egypt and if they won't leave, send them to hell. Problem solved except for whiners of the world who were previously screaming for human rights for ISIS brides. Never side with people who will slice your throat when they find out you ain't muslim.

Who voted for Hamas? elections have consequences. Electing Hamas has consequences, and the people of Gaza are experiencing it now.

If Gaza had elected a government who's stated purpose wasn't to "kill Jews around the world", and was willing to negotiate and prevent violence within Gaza and toward Israel, they would be in a much better position now.

When was it, 2005, that Israel agreed to "land for peace" and removed all Israeli settlers from Gaza? Well, Israel gave land and never received the promised peace in return.

You aren't an orthodox christian so who are you to judge me in that regard? Even if you were, it's not for you to judge me.

Secondly, I'm not in charge of anything so my opinion on it means jack. If I was in charge, that is exactly how I would handle it. Thankfully, I'm not, cause it's a mess anyway you slice it. Maybe to your surprise I do agree with much of what you are arguing but I also agree with much of what Johnny has said.
