The orthodox church is among the largest land holdesr in Israel next to the state itself from my understanding. There are many holy sites for all christians there and they are often under orthodox control. So I do have some interest in beating back the Islamic hordes. I can make value judgements unlike a few other members.

The Philistines were technically of Greek descent from the Aegean. They did intermix with us, however they did not leave a long lasting genetic impact.

Saudi's do not view us as real arabs. We differ genetically from Saudi's, we are just an arabized people. While many Palestinians can look saudi, there are quite a few of us who do not. We are levantines, similar to those from Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, although Palestinians would be closest to Jordanians.
