This about Metallica not the politics

Not sure they made any points in the video.
Seems like a bunch of guys talking all over the place.
Swift is worth about twice as much as every member of Metallica combined.

Not about money . They made points that Metallica has played way bigger shows than Taylor swift has . And ever will . I mean master of puppets is in the library of congress . That is like the biggest deal ever to achieve . I’d take that over any money . Metallica lives on forever because of that

They pointed to one show (without disclosing the history behind it) that was all I heard.
Pretty much everything is in the library of congress. Akin to having a gold star crayon picture on a fridge.
 
She doesn't have fans she has her own horde of zombies that won't be supporting her in 40 years. Metallica stands the test of time!

Not true at all .yhe only chose one metal ever . I’d take library congress over any award , but to each their own

This is not true . It was true 15 years ago when she did country . It stopped now . It was a phase I went through while teaching
 
My daughter was a huge Swift fan back in the original red days, and I used to get her to sleep , every night, by playing the red album.

I began to actually get it, not love it, but understand it. Some songs were actually well done.

I then would show her how easy it was to play her songs just by ear. She thought I was a super hero.

Also taught her how to do rock squats to Gojira, so she knows what's up 🤘

Now she hates Swift and loves anything from the 90s, including old Metallica.

She loves metal...shit, all music now.
I did things the way my parents did.
Listen to anything you want, and I will never put up barriers to what you listen to. She made the cool choices on her own.

There is space for all music.

Well I don’t know, but I know I’ve read articles recently the biggest boost in guitar sales was cause of her. There’s millions of girls out there picking up guitars wanting to be like her the same way we did wanting to be hetfield or whoever, I think it’s cool

They’ll support her on the ‘forums’ even tho they don’t listen anymore. Kind of like Metallica for many of the folks here. I don’t actually listen to VH or Metallica much anymore…unless I pick up a guitar then it comes spewing out like it or not.

Not sure what you mean, they have millions of recordings and like half a million records there.
Metallica is far from the only metal band in the collection.
If you go there you will see that Metallica has 51 individual recordings there to Swift's 148.
Don't actually care about either of them, tbh. 🤷‍♀️

That reminds me, I think I got my RTL CD in the mail recently. Currently the only disc I have with me, so gonna be listening to a lot of Metallica it looks like.
