i dont know man, a catchy good song is a catchy good song to me regardless of who it was written for, and she has written tons of them. i can understand not being a fan, but of all the people to hate on i dont understand hating on a guitar playing chick who got huge on her own songs without being overtly sexual that inspires others to play :dunno: the teenagers you taught 15 years ago are now 31 playing T Swift for their 6 year old thats gonna want to play guitar because of

What, kids and teens aren’t deserving of a genre of music to springboard them into other genres?
KISS was my first love. By age 12 I moved tf on to much heavier shit and never looked back. Does that mean KISS had no value in my musical progression?
As a teacher who “taught over a 1000 people” you should realize the importance or all music and be thanking TS for putting those kids in your lesson room.

They are not domg that though . I teach full time . The parents don’t do that . It’s usually music that has real instruments and are important as the singer . I lived this daily it’s my life . It’s really interesting to see . I’ve even saw first hand how kids achieved because of phones . Kids are really fucked if parents keep giving pre tones phones . It’s drastic . But ya no one ever asks to learn Taylor swift at all anymore . 10 years ago it happened

Btw you brought up Beatles . They played stupid pop as first . What hspoeved when they grew up ? They stopped playing meaningless pop bullshit . They even knew they had to start playing mesnimg fill deep songs because they weren’t kids anymore .
Even the Beatles new pop was iljudt for girls and kids

i gotta think you havent listened to her like last 5 albums cause you'd know its anything but meaningless pop bullshit, im not really into any of them cause its boring "mature" acoustic ballads with no kind of banging pop songs literally at all. how is this song not deep?? this could be on a later beatles album

Until the Library of Congress gets axed in the next round of executive orders.
 
I mentioned in another thread, I'm a big fan of Metallica. However, I have not enjoyed any of their music since 1997's Reload. St. Anger was way too different and just didn't work for me. The 2008 album was better, but there was still something missing. It was like Metallica was trying to backtrack into their older sound, but didn't know how to do it. They would have been better off just continuing down the Load/Reload sound and exploring that. I really, really wanted to like Hardwired and 72 seasons, but they just don't excite me. I can't complain too much though because I still listen to all their albums pre-1998. The Garage Inc album is also fun.
