This seem like about average decent LP tone to me

C'mon bro, it's not like he's ultimately doing it for "The guitar community." He's getting ad revenue and self-promotion. He rubs me the wrong way. But shit, I guess he's doing something right to be in a position to buy a guitar like that in the first place. And clearly he's a talented player.

I’d be extremely surprised if he’s making 1/4 off YouTube over what he has playing on every major album in the last 40 years.

Those types of tones are pretty hard to get ime. High gain and clean tones are easy to get with anything. That mid gain “crunch” really shows the quality of the amp /guitar combo and can be hard to capture. He has a great recording rig and knows how to use it.

Both those guitars sounded pretty great to me for what he goes for.

this is how i picture guys like VonBon and the rest of the youtube haters here reacting when they put on a popular youtube guitarist. i could see that confused look of anger followed by a fit of rage :mad: "fuck this dude and his clickbait average sounding les paul!! these money making sons of bitches!!" they yell as they stomp around inconsolable and breaking things
