That was my Karma all my life. I never won anything before. Before ToneMonster ran the last giveaway, my love for playing guitar was gone for more than 10 years. In all that time, I literally bought no guitars, amps or pedals and barely played. In fact, I sold off a lot of stuff. My interests were focused on other things and I only played guitar when needed for work...which was about once a week for 15 minutes and often less than that.

On a whim or mid-life crisis, karma led me to buying a "shredder guitar" which reminded me of my youth. This would be my first Luxxtone, which then lit a spark and got me interested in what was new in gear in 2024 (I stopped buying gear in 2012) and that soon led me back to Rig-Talk and very shortly after that, I entered the last Wizard giveaway and won. As corny as it sounds, winning the MCII really inspired to seriously play again and play every day, sometimes hours at a time. I feel like I woke up form a decade long coma, my rig has never been better and I'm playing better and making better music which is helping me in my job.

One of you will win this and your odds are strong. And for everybody that doesn't win, karma will come around. For the cynics out there, the total amount donated to St. Jude might not be a large sum in the grand scheme of things, but maybe it helps one family with some treatment and their expenses. It will 100% help somebody with something.

Thank you Clint and Rick and the mods here. Hopefully the raffle for this cause ramps up as the date gets closer.
