Yep - he's mentioned a truer Jose production amp many times, and that he's been working with his daughter. Also's been talking with Mick quite a bit lately. The most interested I've been in a production amp of his in a while. Hope he gets to it in the show before he's finished half his bottle of bourbon/tequila

The only Jose amp I would pay money for was the one that crossed Dave’s desk that is owned by Steve Vai and was fully loaded. One of the best sounding Jose mods I’ve ever heard.

I’ll bet that’s the next namm release and he’s paying the family royalties which could be pretty cool, versus modeling the Jose leaving everybody out of the loop.

Just remember that the Dr. Feelgood amp wouldn't be such a gainmonster as many would believe. It's a fairly low gain compared to the more modern offerings.

My guess is a 5K amp, since it's gonna be handwired in house by Dave himself or a few other close trusted employees. Custom shop.

the funny thing is Dave sold the JEL-100's for that amount too...it was the scarcity that drove 'em up until the 50watter came out

for anyone interested in Dave's take on this mod, here's a clip of mine. It sounds incredibly 3d in person and you can do anything from plexish tones all the way to Ride the Lightning in a box!!!
Highly recommend grabbing this custom shop run while you can fellas!! Dave knows what he's doing!
