Dan, have you checked out the JAckson DK2M?

I`ve been eyeing these myself, being Floyd-less ATM.

Japan built, reasonable prices and original SD pickups :)

I looked into those, but id still need to have an OFR installed because i dont like those licensed floyds.. But they do look like nice guitars!

Im still thinking the two i like most so far are the ESP M-II standard and the Washburn custom shop N4.. the N4 being in first place right now due to the awesome upper fret access!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, its helped a lot! I think i have narrowed down my choices to 2 guitars... gotta think about which one id prefer. Its down to the M-II and the Custom Shop Washburn N4.

They don't sound the same so my vote would be both

As an aside though... the N4 is only 22 frets. Frets 23 & 24 are harder to play on the M-II but, up to the 22nd fret it is just as easy to play IMO.

I know your wanting an S body but this one has 24 frets and original Floyd. Easy access to the frets, neck thru BCR...very shred friendly

Why not just order another gmw? Or if you want a strathead buy a used one. You already have one so you know the feel and quality of them.

Thats a killer Mockingbird. Nicest one I have seen in awhile.

My GMW strathead is amazing but i would like to try something a little different just for variation!

That mockingbird looks cool! Id rather have a strat type body though, as i have had other guitars with different shapes and found that i always come back to the strat shape! Its just so comfortable to play.

Ibanez RG2570VSL. It's in very good/Excellent condition. Some of the black chrome rubbed off of the bridge. I swtiched out the stock bridge DiMarzio for an Evo 2. Will include the original bridge pickup. Guitar sounds and plays great. Absolutely one of the finest shred/metal guitars I've ever played.

Bought it new ealier this year, so there is some fret wear but nothing major. The guitar is pretty clean as far as scratches and dings go. $700.00 plus shipping. inconus only. All clips made here except the one strat clip were made with this guitar
