Putin?Does anyone else remember when he took over for Megyn Kelly and then adopted all of her facial expressions? So weird.
Yes, PutinPutin?
I feel like he is using what he calls "De-nazism" as a rallying cry. It feels archaic and easy.I don’t think he’s a fan boi. I actually enjoyed the history lesson….put lots of stuff into context. I have only watched maybe half and my main takeaway is what a wasted opportunity the USA squandered when the ussr collapsed.
It's a goofy PR talking point Russia is peddling. It's about the energy reserves in Eastern Ukraine. That's it. It's not about neo-nazis or NATO encroachment. Prior to 2014 Ukraine was sort of independent and would deal with Russia in a way that was beneficial to both. Then the NeoLib/NeoCon/PNAC shit house decided they wanted to loot Ukraine's new found wealth when the energy reserves were discovered/fleshed out, so they installed their own puppets through a coup and this was obviously very detrimental to Russian economic interests/energy market deals.I feel like he is using what he calls "De-nazism" as a rallying cry. I tend to agree that “Denazification” is largely PR. But I’m convinced the NATO issue is real, as is the rejection of western installed leaders. Russia is already resource rich. Why do you think western missiles in Ukraine would not be an issue? It's a goofy PR talking point Russia is peddling. It's about the energy reserves in Eastern Ukraine. That's it. Too ironic considering Russia just invaded its metaphorical Poland.I feel like he is using what he calls "De-nazism" as a rallying cry. It feels archaic and easy.
Russia has no right to other countries to create some sort of glory days of the USSR like it's a bloc. The USSR was a collection of countries many of which were part of it against their will. The only "Nazis" is Russia. They are the ones that invaded Eastern Europe like Hitler did - they just did it after WW2. The other traditional super power "The USA" didn't become a superpower by invading its allies by force.I tend to agree that “Denazification” is largely PR. I don’t know military technology, but it seems that if Moscow is the “heart” when you’re getting into the hundreds of kilometers, distance matters in terms of defense. In other words, the reasoning seems plausible to me. But maybe I’m wrong here?If I were Putin, I would consider the concern of NATO buildup on their borders as the sales plan that led to the justification of military action as an appeal to the people as a more realistic rallying point. His "De-Nazification" message simply rang so hollow and aimless.
I can’t think of a worse way to reach dumb ass Americans than talk history or geography. It honestly makes me wonder about the sophistication of the Putin government.
