I know everyone and everything is blaming the pandemic for any and all problems. The USPS is no different. I've had Priority packages take 8 days when a ground shipment would arrive in 2 days. So I have a First Class package take 7 days to move 150 miles. I keep tracking it daily in hopes of it getting closer. Now they have removed the expected delivery date and have kindof given me an anticpated arrival window . . .

I had the same experience...
It took days to move inside FL.

Things seemed to go bad about two weeks ago for USPS. I have had similar things happening, I had a priority shipment from Oregon come in two days yet something two states over is going into almost two weeks now. WTH?

I guess they are still busy trucking ballots in........

During this time of the season, anyone selling you gear and using USPS is stupid and a penny pinching fuck.
I just send a good size box with a pedal, multi switch and a cable to NYC for $20.00 and it'll be there on the 24th.

I adjusted my sale price a it but knew I'd never use that fuck show system.

You all have no idea...We are downing in packages. Nobody wants a job to sort packages or deliver them. Chicago was asking us in northern Michigan to come down to deliver packages. The trucks keep showing up dumping packages and we can only sort so much in a work day with the staff we have. Let's not forget employees out with covid, contract tracing decimates us. My office is small. Covid hit us just before Thanksgiving, we lost 60% of our staff. How do you propose we handle that work load and deliver your much needed guitar shit. The packages will get delivered, but it's tuff in this click and get something instantly society. UPS and Fed Ex can't even keep up so they stopped picking packages up. I'm wasted, been working 10-12 hours a day 6 days a week for this whole pandemic. Come on guys be realistic

Wow, I feel for you. Many feel a sense of entitlement these days. It's a pandemic worse than Covid.

Dude I admire more than anyone what you guys deal with but..look at the estimated delivery date OP put...lol.

I’ve had packages sitting for weeks and haven’t updated. Who knows when I’ll get them. I don’t expect to see anything until after the holidays.

Go figure, I sent your pickup from PA on the other side of you and you got it in a few days. I have a set of knobs coming from 200 miles away from me and it’s been 2 weeks and still nothing...

Yeah I don’t get it.

I ordered a Gotoh 510 trem from Philadelphia Luthier on the 15th. They’re in PA, obviously. Tracking shows it was “accepted” at post office on the 16th. Hasn’t updated at all since then. I’m sure it’s still sitting in PA.

Does their software seriously say, "... Arriving when Hell freezes over"?

Wow.
No. It was just my attempt at humor.

It's not just guitar shit either.

I have the same issue with them

Hell freezing over would be so 2020.

I ordered something from PLS on the 14th and got it yesterday in GA.

The USPS Informed Delivery system has been pretty inaccurate but from what JH said above it makes sense. A lot more gifts are getting shipped this year.

Any of you add 6 times the work your used to and tell me all your due dates would stay the same? I ordered guitar wood 11-23 got it 12-18. Late yup...but I got it.

Glad I shipped everything with UPS this year. I knew better.
