sounds promising!
getting back to the mean vh groove, and dave is just cooler than sammy.

sammy tried to be too artsy or melodic over vh music and just tried to hard, period.. dave just sticks exclamation points on the ends of ed and al's musical phrases, and is a fun and hilarious guy who knows how to pilot the rocketship.
and wolf sounds like he's been woodshedding, although i don't know how much showmanship/humping his bass and high carhorn harmonies he's going to be offering. but i think he keeps the vh fam in line just being there and has a good handle on the pulse of what the younger fans want to hear.

its hard to tell from the sound quality of the video, but Eddie's tone sounded more raw, less processed...which is VERY cool in my book!!!

I hate the tone Eddie is getting these days. Nasally, weird mid, wirey mess. I sure hope they get some better recorded sounds than what's coming out off that stage. Unfortunately, that is what I've heard from every live clip for the past two years, so I suspect that's his sound and it'll come through in a recording.
