OK, thank you Peter, but I can't make 1200km for an amp........ I think it is easy to understand. Well, I try to find someone, but that's not easy. Well, when it will be repared, bye bye Diezel... Too hard to find dealers & technicians, that's a real problem.
MARK2C":3mtg5sft said:Not to be rude, but it seems like the issues started when you used a preamp through the effect. It's possible that you damaged the amp, but you have not changed power tubes yet either.
MARK2C":3mtg5sft said:Everyone here has been trying to help you but it's never a good enough suggestion to try. Send the amp to Diezel Gemany and get on with it.
MARK2C":1mi37h5e said:This still sounds to me like misuse of the amplifier from the Recto Preamp. Please don't blame Diezel and Company
for what has happen to the amp while in your possession and from your use.
It may only be that you blew a screen grid resistor on one side of the power amp.
For 12 Years I have used a VH4 as it was intended and I have not had one problem with all four I have owned
in that time.

we try to help You out but it´s difficult for me
to solve the issue without having the amp on
the work bench.
I gave You the address of our distributor in
France. Maybe Henri knows a tech in Your area.
If You find a tech, I will assist and help.
Best regards,
Peter

My VH4S is back home. Problem? broken solderings... So...
I plug my guitar, and endly ear clear channel,
BUT ! I can't anymore change channels with my footcontroller... (this is a Behringer FCB1010)
I've tried several time to program program change, it doesn't work...
billy_lost":3n3ma65t said:I don't think all Diezel Amp users are professionnals, I'm not. A safe shipping for the VH4S (more or less 30kg I think) is very expensive (I've asked professionnals, nearly 200€), in addition, this cost doesn't take in account the reparation to come.
hunter":1a1kxldx said:200€ seems way too high. Even with UPS it would be more around 50€-60€.
Check prices with GLS or DHL, and just skip the insurance. If there is an issue the shipping companies make loads of probems, you won't get your money anyways most likely. I'm sure there is a way to ship it for like 30€.
I win! Try a different footswitchglip22":2aj5mgra said:Cold Solder joint
