Watch.... my luck is the amp is still stuck at the UPS hub in Ohio under the foot of snow.
Nah I think your amp made it out just fine. It didnt really start up until pretty late for us. My Mom and sister etc were coming back from Myrtle Beach Sat morning. They ended up staying somewhere for the nite and made it back today. Columbus got alot more than we did!

Looks like they spent the weekend in Ohio. Mine left Middleburg Heights this morning. Still on track for a 3/13 delivery though.

Mine hit Lexington KY this morning. Still on track for tomorrow.

That sounds really good! I dig it more than the Ultra Lead judging by those clips.
It is quite abit different for sure. Different feel and thicker tone.

Any good thoughts on a Firewire interface? Mine wont work with this MBP. :(

The RME Fireface and Metric Halo 2882 are supposed to have killer A/D converters. The Mackie Onyx 400F (a bit cheaper) and 1200F (more expensive) and the Focusrite Saffire Pro series are supposed to be pretty decent as well. I can't comment on MOTU's current offerings; I'm not up to date with those.

I have a Focusrite Saffire Pro coming for use with my Macbook Pro; I can post a review when it arrives.

Yes let me know!!

Apparently the Saffire Pro arrived at my house a little while ago; my girlfriend signed for it, clips (Mesa Stiletto, bass, and maybe some direct stuff) and a review will be arriving later.

Awesome....just about to pull the trigger on something

finally got to hear all of these. Sounds great! There are some clips that definitely sort of resemble a stock Marshall with a little more hair on it, but retaining the tight/stiff sound. I like it! Got any clips with single coils?

Ant

You know I was going to grab my tele in the morning but was too lazy. I'll try some next time we get some of these in......there is alot of Marshall ness in there for sure. :)

Thanks John. I hope to get some better ones happening next time. The camcorder mic is pretty weak. Its alot more Marshally than the CLX you had, so I think you'd like it too :)

Hope the gigs are going well for you!

Very Cool George!!. I played the Sig-X at NAMM for a while after Steve F. Demoed the amp for me an Ivan for about a half hour. I guess I had about 1/2 hour demo and 1/2 hour of me playing on it. To me it was definitely a cross between a UL and a Deliverance. It did not have as much gain as an UL but it had more gain on tap then a deliverance. I actually enjoyed playing the amp but it did feel stiff to me but that's only because I usually play on the boogies which have the sponge factor in spades. There are a lot of tones in this amp and the price is killer IMHO.
The thing that I did notice is that it had a Marshall type vibe to the amp when you cranked the hell out of it. It seemed to have that poweramp saturation/sound that Marshalls do when cranked and I will definitely echo what George said that the amp sounded like it had el-34's in it. I dug this amp way more then the deliverance but in all honesty, most people who don't dig VHT's will still probably hate this amp.

I kinda liked the UL i had but that was when i was jamming with a band. And in many clubs i was usually fighting with it to loosen up. I thought it only sounded good on Greenbacks and i had to use a Tube Screamer all the time with it, not for more gain but for more......life, or juice, or something. Playing at home i got really tired of the UL. I just wasn't motivated to plug into it anymore. It sounded too dull or flat. I can tell from Georges videos that i wouldn't like the Sig-X at all. It's one of those amps that some people will get to sound amazing, but don't plug me into it.
