Damn, that man could throw down.
His outright mastery of heavy rock guitar is a thing to behold.

Vito's awesome.
Hungry is probably my fav
Not too many people better that Vito IMHO. His technique and style are unique.^ That would be Michael Wagener and I don't remember that but it wouldn't surprise me either - the one take thing.
You may have read that in here

Ed didn't think so. He gave Vito a lot of compliments.Great player, but he never really had his own identity. He was just another EVH wanna-be.
He had an issue with his hand IIRC. I can't look it up right now. And also a falling out with Trampy to if memory serves correct.Vito was an enigma… Just his appegiated rhythms were phenomenal. “And then just like a fart in the wind, gone!” WTH. Like a cruel joke he played on the music world. And not dead like SRV or RR, he just said Fuck this, I guess …
Had no idea about the hand. That sux. As far as arguments between musicians; that’s par for the course. I’d just move on. The hand thing though… wondering will make me find the answer. He had an issue with his hand IIRC. I can't look it up right now. And also a falling out with Trampy to if memory serves correct.
I’d say was influenced by EVH, but I can instantly recognize Vito’s playing and not confuse it with anyone else.Great player, but he never really had his own identity. He was just another EVH wanna-be.
I read somewhere he took a long time off to look after his ailing father but was also really fed up with the music business. They were screwed by record label etc.He had an issue with his hand IIRC. I can't look it up right now. And also a falling out with Trampy to if memory serves correct.
