Warren DeMartini back with Stephen Pearcy

i’d give big money for a joe rogan reaction podcast of a 2025 best of live album of pearcy, dokken, bon jovi, and motley crue iso vocal tracks.

they are only tuned down a half step. And the original recording as well, so this is actually the same key as the record.
Come on what?? No way the original drags ass like that. Warren sounded like shit here and as one of my fave players, it is hard for me to say that. Whole thing has no life. So you are saying they are a full step down now if the original was half a step down...I'm busting out the tuner !

I used one of my guitars that tuned a half step down and played along just enough to confirm they’re tuned a half step down

It's bout a 1/2..
Easy mang! LOL That record is coming up on 40..
If he's still playing an SLO, I like that.
He found his lane and is staying in it.

no, they are 1/2 step down just like the record

I think they sound pretty good and Warren still has it all. Pearcy is what he is. Kind of a talk singer these days. I would watch that show just for Warren. Not enough of him around these days. Always been a tasteful player and knew when to self edit.

Sorry guys, I think Warren is not playing great here at all. His timing is off and he's hitting wrong notes all over the place. Yes he's live but he's off. Maybe hitting the sauce before the shows in order to stand a set with Pearcy?

I’d bet their SLOs are out of sight . There’s pics of them using them for the rehearsal
Small venue shows that they fly in for, backline amps only as with most bands these days unfortunately. Can't bring your own amps unless you've got a truck on the road with you. Fly in with guitars and pedal board.

I’m waiting to hear back from Carlos Cavazo , I might be waiting a long time lol

Great tune off a killer album ( I love Detonator) but man Pearcy lol... spoken poetry or something? How is he not embarassed? Nice to hear real backing vocals that are good vs choruses in the can alla Motley and Def Lep though. Warren hit the lead here as well. Who am I kidding, I'd probably go see Pearcy's trainwreck just to see Warren.

Pearcy has looked like a rock and roll grandma since 1988, so not much has changed there. Its nice to see that Warren appears to be having fun.

Sounds like they totally skipped the key change near the end. Probably for the best.
