How can it be altered? Everyone else is in tune and even if someone overdubbed a detuned guitar wouldnt you hear Ed's original track? I don't know of any software that will take out just the guitar. Im just thinking that his guitar was out? love to hear what ya got though!! I actually hope it was altered!!

Sounds to me like someone's added a track to this audio. All you have to do is look at Eddie's hands while completely different sounds are going on.
I'll throw it up tonight on here.

Well I did a bit of research on the web including reading a few blogs from people who were at teh show and they said that clip is real. Hell... Ed's guitar was out and the Tech should have fixed the problem. Shit happens lol

I love some of the hilarious reasons given on the Metro board... "Hey... I know, the "Jump" keyboards must be in standard tuning and Ed is in E-flat. Yeah that must be it!" C'mon man - Dontcha think they mighta checked that during REHEARSAL? Why would they use a different tuning just for "Jump"?

I dont see why ed couldnt have just stoped playing for a second and switch the guitars out? That would take like 10 seconds, and besides since the song was ''jump'' you would hardly notice, because of the keyboards.

I noticed something weird (besides the obvious) that I can't quite put my finger on... during the solo especially you can hear some artifacts that sound like you're only hearing a detuned delay of the original signal.
Whatever it is, it's hard to imagine that Eddie was able to hear that and would have continued playing.
