For sure.I also preferred my G modded to C. I don’t see the downside to it. It tightened it up, made the lows more usable and the mids slightly less scooped. There’s still plenty of high end sizzle available imo with the presence and treble.
I guess it’s subjective but I preferred it with the mod. My buddy just had a G Triple C modded and much prefers it now.
Even C modded It’s still a lower mid voiced amp with a ton of available low end.
