i forgot the guys name, im guessing it was back in the 70s, i think he might have been in the band that did "nah nah hey hey goodbye" who were from here, i know my father was in bands with some of those dudes and he knew him, i just remember him saying they liked him but his look was a no go, reading that now about marty it sounds plausible lol
