What guitars does everyone have?

Hi everyone, I couldn't find a thread for what guitars people own so I thought I would start one.

My main guitar is a ESP LTD MH1000 that I got in 2010, I got it for around half the UK price by buying it from Canada and getting it shipped over. The shipping was a risk but I got a fantastic guitar at a great price. It is the Seymour duncan hardtail version with a JB in the bridge and a 59 in the neck, instead of the EMG model equipped with a floyd.

I love the quilt on mine, and also love the abalone. I know a lot of people were put off the 1000 series because of the abalone, but I guess I like a bit of bling being from Essex after all (No, it's not like the terrible TV show the only way is Essex here before you ask lol).

I was just interested in what everyone else has, and if they have many what is their favourite and maybe a photo showing it off?

Here is mine-

That’s a cool guitar! Here’s a list of my guitars: Ibanez RG507 (my first good guitar), Ibanez RGT3020FMDS, Gibson Flying V ´11, Gibson Explorer ´16, Gibson LP Custom ´10, Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster ´20. I also have a Gibson 80s Explorer which I sent back to the music store because it was build like s**t. I requested a replacement guitar so let’s see how it goes with it.

Thank you mate! You have some nice guitars there! I am really interested in the Flying V and the explorer, sorry to hear you got a bad one- I hear that Gibson's quality control has gone very bad, and saw a bad one on spectre sound studios.

Do you have any photos of any of the guitars you could share? Just interested in what other people have :)

ELECTRICS
1989 Yamaha RGX Standard - This one is mine. The bridge pickup is really good...it stays in there for the time being. It has single coils and I hate 60 cycle hum, so it's getting DiMarzio HS2's in the neck and middle positions.

1987 Kramer F-3000 (Not the Focus 3000. My Kramer is a pro level guitar.) - This one's not mine, but I have the same model guitar and color. I run a Suhr Aldrich bridge model in the bridge (it's never coming out of this guitar) and DiMarzio HS3's in the neck and middle slots.

2010 Ibanez AS73 (ES-335 style guitar) - This one's not mine, but I have the same model guitar and color. A good friend of mine passed away 10 years ago and his widow gave me all of his musical gear. This guitar will be with me until I die. Gonna put new pickups and wiring in it. Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz neck and DiMarzio DP153 FRED in the bridge. I'll bet it rips with the new pickups and wiring. The stock Ibanez pickups SUCK. LOL

I also have a cheapo no name electric. I dunno what brand it is - Kinda mangled, but I plan to get it set up for slide.

Martin DXME - This one's not mine, but I have the same model guitar and color.

I also need 2 new Strat type guitars because I've got a bunch of noise cancelling pickups sitting on my shelf! :dunno:
DiMarzios: DP403 Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues (the original with A5 polepieces, not the DP409 Heavy Blues 2 which has A2 polepieces) :worship:
Duncans: 2 x SVR-1n Vintage rails neck and middle and an STK-10b YJM Fury bridge model.

ASK ME THE TIME, I'LL BUILD YOU A CLOCK.

My bad, I couldn't find that when I searched. Nothing wrong with a new one though is there?

That Yamaha catches my eye every time I see a pic. Love that finish and those top contours are killer. I love how it's dished behind around the edge back behind the trem. Is the heel heavily contoured? Thing is beautiful Johnny.

BTW I took the 490r/Lollar dB loaded Viper 1000 on it's maiden flight to my local blues jam and plugged into a Deluxe or some SF Fender. Was gonna tweak some knobs on the amp but then decided heck with it, I'll just see how it sounds with someone else's settings. Sounded really good and the Lollar was smoking.

Thanks, brother! Yeah, very contoured heel. Super comfortable and very easy to climb up to the high notes As usual Yamaha was light years ahead of the pack when they designed and built this guitar.

My two faves right now. I have one of the fx cult km-7’s coming (some day).
The h/07 has polymaths, and the vm-7 has juggernauts. The aristides might be the most resonate guitar ive ever owned. Still not sure how i feel about that with no wood in sight lol.
