I'm looking for an inexpensive pedal to mostly switch channels on my BRAND NEW VH4. It will sit most of the time in the studio but for the odd time I play out, I'd like to try the Diezel so I'll need a channel switcher.

I am using a Digital Music Corp. Ground Control Pro. Not really inexpensive...but it has never failed me. I hear the Columbus is awesome...but i dont own one..yet

im using the randall rf4 to switch between channels.neat & simple. But no banks control, presets etc on the rf4..

Im using the Behringer FCB1010. So far its worked well for me. ..knock on wood. Plus it has 2 expression pedals. They are inexpensive as piss. Ive heard some great things and some not so good things about them.

Same here. Really easy to mod for phantom power too. Mine is starting to act up though. Bank up and down don't work well anymore (some days they do, some days they don't). Granted, mine is beat to all hell and I paid $50 for it, so I really can't complain.

I use a Tech 21 Midi Mouse. Cheap and takes up very little real estate on a pedal board. I own a Columbus and also a Bradshaw RS10 as well. I do wish both of them had an alpha-numeric readout. It is hard to keep up with and remember control assignment numbers onstage.

You know I got the Nobels MF-2, Olaf almost always recommends this one as it's cheap, has phantom power and sturdy....but it has it's privileges too. I'm building a dual amp setup, and I got this Nobels Alex-1 looper so I can run both heads into one cab, and the MF-2 allows me to remote controll it. I still have to wrap my head around it but at the end the Nobels turned out to be quite a good deal.

Guys, I need some help.
I want to use the Axess FX-1 MIDI controller with the Herbert. But when I plug in the 5 pin midi-cable, the "Store" LED on the Herbert starts blinking pretty fast and I have no change whatsoever if I press any switch on the FX1. Any suggestion? Peter? Anyone?
