Guys, I need some help.
I want to use the Axess FX-1 MIDI controller with the Herbert. But when I plug in the 5 pin midi-cable, the "Store" LED on the Herbert starts blinking pretty fast and I have no change whatsoever if I press any switch on the FX1. Any suggestion? Peter? Anyone?

Emanuele

You might need a a new midi controller chip is what my guess is

That sounds strange...coz the FX1 has a startup built-in test in it passes flawlessly everytime :/
Anyone who has already paired the Herbert with the FX1? Any suggestion?

hej guys help me !
my nobels does not work anymore

i searchign a new one or something else with phanton power

Looks like I'm going to go with the Rolls Midi Buddy.

Nobody mentioned the Tech21 Midi Moose. It's cheap, small and has legit metal switches that to me just look like they'd take more abuse than a Rolls or Behringer. That's what I'm rockin!

Midi Moose works pretty nicely, what I got goin' on.

Yes it looks good. Does it work with phantom power on the VH4?

mesa boogie abacus.. big lit up numbers on each switch you can see from a mile away and it's indestructable. you can get 1 on ebay for a little over $100. and the VH4 will power it. just need to move the power wire in the abacus to the right midi pin. your VH4 manual will tell you what pin
