What modulation is EVH using here? Chorus?

From what I have gathered the Eventide H910 is used on VHII Fair Warning and then the H949 for Diver Down, 1984, 5150 and OU812. The H3000 Micropitch W/D/W setup was then used for FUCK and Balance.

It's wild how that detune blends in so good in the overall mix thickening up his tone.

I think it a .99 cents detune roughly, but you will never get that tone Dave since Jose modded his Eventides.........:hys:

For a FW tone I use my Eventide Pitchfactor with basically a .996 cent for Pitch A and 1.004 cent for Pitch B detune but with a drier Wet/Dry 40-60% mix setting on the Pitchfactor however dry or wet you want it and it's a pretty killer tone. Some people set their delays on the pitchfactor to 3ms for Pitch A and 6ms on Pitch B. I tend to leave the delays off on the pitchfactor but everyone is different.

Fuck. I’ve been looking for something to add to my recent setup lexicon plate reverb and the micro pitch on the H90 is it. “Balance” preset. Dammit it’s what I’ve been looking for. Glad this thread started

I’m not so sure this is the Eventide. EVH used chorus going back to VHII, and it’s possible it’s a Roland rack mount analog delay set to a chorus sound, like the tones on Diver Down (Pretty Woman in particular). I forget the model, I think it’s a DC30 ?

I just got this vintage MXR SC lastnite. First time with it but its got the Reticon chip and thats something special.
