I put this together with parts from Stratosphere. Fender body and neck. I’m not 100% sure what the floyd is, but it’s thick and solid. It’s not really recessed, but the front kind of is. Floyd sits on top of the body. Swimming pool route. Duncan bridge. Custom or Distortion. I can pull it out if you need to know. $375 shipped and PayPal ff. I can do more pics if needed

true, but unaffordable

Nash S81 is good for a step-down in price, compared to a Luxxtone. I'd put a good Nash up against anything.
That said, I'm not digging the new ones I've seen and played in the past couple of years.

or you could buy one direct form them for 1k down and have about a year to come up with the other 2k by the time its ready

An aside: I just did a build your own superstrat project and I found that it is not that much cheaper than buying one really at the end of the day and way more hassle.
