You come to STL and don't give me a head's up I'll show up in Texas just to slap you. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Man if I ever make it through St. Louis I'll be up you and @japetus ass about showing up to the gig so bad you'll wish you had never helped me out, lol.

Learning all the songs on Brad Pasiley's Play. Just got through "What A Friend I Have In Jesus". Really cool.

Took a bit of a break because I couldn't figure the bridge out and the tabs online are just not accurate but Cold Hate, Warm Blood by Cryptopsy has been my latest.

Not sure if a lot of people here are into that stuff but imo Jon Levasseur is one of, if not the best metal guitarists in the world. It hasn't been the most difficult song I've seen ever, not by a long shot but it is definitely difficult but just amazingly written imo.

I've got it down pretty flawlessly after some warming up until it gets to the solo then I'm stumped. (Can definitely not play that solo and haven't even tried)

The holiday season starts next week and I've got a 12 song Christmas Set list to brush up on for all the Holiday gigs.

Here's a few that I'm working on today.

I was working on this song all week. I played it last night "twice" in the beginning and at the end of my 3 hour set at the Winery. Came out great and people slow danced to it both times.

Did he do that one at the CMA Awards? Or SOMEBODY did it?
Working on Johnny Winters' "dallas" on a brass reso. So much you can do with that song and eventually, something will sound right.

He did that on a show that was a Tribute to The Bee Gees. Pretty awesome job.
I gig to a Beatbuddy and I wrote a midi file that kind of parallels his performance. My joke at gigs is "When I grow up I want to be John Mayer or Keith Urban" and then I perform couple of their songs.

Here's a link to the Kieth Urban performance. For some reason It don't work ?

Worked for me. Channel surfing but not intending to watch the show, I caught the beginning of that performance and stayed. Very well done.

I just put on the radio and pluck out everything that comes on.

Whether i like the song or not.

Most often i cant get the solos on the first take.
But most of the progressions come easy enough

My problem is i cant remember them well enough to play them the next day
