My first hard rock/ metal electric guitar after 21 Year of modding is probably the most expensive Yamaha ERG 121 on the planet:

- Schaller locking tuners
- Fender LSR roller nut
- Stainless steel Jescar frets
- Hand made Kent Armstrond Rocker bridge pickup
- Hand made Kent Armstrong Alnico 8 single coil
- Fernandes sustainer syste
- Super Vee tremolo with brass block
- Bourns push pull volume pot
- Bourns Vintage 82 tone pot
- Nos 0.1 uF ceramic disc capacitor from 1960s
- Switchcraft jack

Now this baby is killer.

Westone Dimension IV. All maple, all blue (everywhere!). Not my pics as these are of a clean specimen. My Westone rests in it's coffin as it's been stripped of it's pickups/electronics and I rarely exhume it. Look at that piece of shit locking nut lol. The tremolo bridge sucks equally hard as the cheapo pot metal string retainers have snapped on three of them. I removed that useless locking nut and set up the trem as close as possible to a stop tail years ago (no movement). Surprisingly, then and only then would it stay in tune quite well, despite having to thread the ball ends of those three strings deep into the trem's nether regions where they would somehow hook themselves onto something and stay there!

I played all the gigs I've ever played on this thing and never with a backup (didn't have a 2nd axe at the time). Young and foolish days lol.

Accepting offers now!

LTD EC-1000 deluxe. I had a prs custom 24 before that but the LTD with EMGs was my jam and I ended up using that as my main live guitar for several years

Ibanez RG570 ... I was broke in college. :D
My old 1992 Ibanez RG-570. My first good super Strat guitar! I traded it off after the guitar got its headstock damaged by the ignorant bass player's brother of an Ozzy tribute band that I was in the 1990's. I got the guitar repaired, but it was never stable and had tuning issues after the headstock damage. I liked the RG series without the guitar looking like the Ibanez Universe.

Charvette HSS in 90 followed by a Carvin V220 in 93.
Gave away a Hondo 785 around 1998, totally forgot about that guitar til now.

Then I got a 2002 LP Classic, in 02, and that was the end of metal guitars. Unless you count an Ibanez RG2550 or Explorer.
