I owned a 2010 Dual Recto for a month or two and my favorite aspect of it was really the clean channel's pushed mode. It just sounded perfect for that classic rock sound with my Tubescreamer in front. The Orange channel was a bit too fat, as I think all or most Mesa crunch sounds are. The Red channel modern was really really good, but it had to be punching your walls with an iron dick before it sounded 'right' and for some reason I think it sounded a little more 'midrangey' compared to the older Recs. Not as fat and lax in the mids I think. Could be the way that I had it dialed though and I only had it for a little while, but it made me curious to try one of the older models because those are the Recs that I've been listening to on Death Metal tracks from over the years. Overall it was a really fun amp to play and own though and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who isn't afraid to sit in front of their amp and contemplate which settings sound best.
I did some clips with it although they're pretty junk tbh. Just put my handle into netmusicians.org and go to page 2 for the Recto clips.
