Who got Call Of Duty 4 today?

Im at the part with the Flashback, being the sniper and killing that baldy. How far am I now?
 
Once that level is done i believe thats 50% of the way through the game.

Hell yeah :rock: that was one of the funnest missions I played, I wish we can carry around that sniper rifle we used to splatter that guys head

Did you try firing early while the wind was blowing? The bullet really curves a ton. I totally missed the first time. :doh: :D

I fired after the helicopter popped up, I adjusted a little for the wind though, not sure if I got lucky, but he got hit haha. Does the wind ever calm down? Because the flag never stopped moving

Yeah it does. MacMillan gives you the go to fire right when they're about to leave and the flag stops moving.

Was up till 3:30am last night, just finished the sniper/flashback mission. This game is hella fun and hella intense.....you had a huge sense of urgency to get back to the landing zone on the sniper mission and hold off the bad guys while waiting for the chopper to show up. I hope the multiplayer is as fun as the single player!
 
Is the multiplayer all people hopping around spastically like Quake, or is it more under control?

I'm guilty of doing that sometimes in Halo3. But a lot of people can you kill as you're in mid air so it doesn't always work. Jumping around like a rabbit is the best way to avoid getting killed by a gernade though, and it helps to jump away from gernades in COD4 as well.

Helps to keep from getting shot in the head too....but I'm no hopper, I like to stand and be killed like a man.
 
Finally beat the game :rock: the game was funner towards the middle of the game, but still an overall awesome campaign. Now I am just playing multiplayer and I am almost a Corporal :)

I only have one gripe with the multiplayer. For your win loss record, it counts the same for team deathmatch and free for all, which is retarded IMO. You either win or lose in team deathmatch...but in free for all there is 1 winner and 7 losers. Makes my record look awful because I never play team deathmatch. :doh:
 
how is it compared to the big orange box? considering buying one of the two
and halo 3 is great! worthit for the multiplayer alone..goddamn complainers ;)

I didn't buy The Orange Box. No interest in it honestly. I've played Half Life 2 before and I don't care about Portal or Team Fortress 2. I just sold my copy of Halo 3 on Ebay. Good riddance. :lol: :LOL:
