I like the combination of both with a good amp head switcher.

Bad Cat? Never seen one of those before.
His rig was my desktop wallpaper for awhile.
Unfortunately,I have the only one in production and James has one( if he didnt sell it).my best cleans ans semi-cleans in the whole rack.there was gonna be a run of 50, then all of a sudden He dropped the ball on it and took the chinese made badcat line on instead....pity, cause a real nice badcat poweramp was next in the making.I saw the plans for it-it wouldve had some firsts ever in the poweramp design of things...21_guitars":7fxc0e70 said:Wow!

Well,Im glad they have one, as I have to chuckle for a moment on that one....much appreciated, although Ive got a direct line to the main cat ( and he's got one to me too-should he choose to use it), anyways, after the amount of moola that went out for this preamp, and then one custom shop head, and adding a +one year wait for em,Its probably more fitting that I would own all the stock in the company itself..lol......joking aside, they make a killer product and theyre still my best clean tones hands down.Shark Diver":pwmrv3ms said:Little B":pwmrv3ms said:I was gonna replace the vht classic w/ 1rst run Badcat poweramp w/ all kinds of crazy options on it and the builder dropped the rackmount gear in favor of other things instead.....thats puttin it nicely and proper, I believe
My buddy is now the Artist Relation guy. Anything you want me to ask them?

I also use the FX return of the VHT to power the dry side of my W/D/W setup. Yes racks can be ridiculously complicated, heavy, impractical, etc, but I have been immensely satisfied with the tone and flexibility I get compared to a traditional head/cab setup. I agree

This would sound better if you turned it right-side-up.
