Who owns the most expensive amp on Rig Talk?

Isn't "expensive" a measure of cost/price? This should be easy to settle by showing some receipts. Even if we were talking most valuable instead of most expensive, it's still only worth what someone was willing to pay for it. So, who has the most expensive amp? Pretty sure it's not me ;-)

Cool thread idea! I'm surprised at how few are showing their expensive amps on this thread after 4 pages. I am glad it isn't bringing those same amp-pile pictures we see on the "Show Us Your Rig" threads, where the poster lists which ones they've gotten rid of in the pic... as this is obviously seeking 1 expensive amp.
Anyways, it's looking like the Corgan Diezel is our winner so far, with that Dumble holding down 2nd place.

Celebrity attachment will always add to cost for the right customer, which really just comes to down to how big a fan they are.

How much was that on reverb?
I'm the one that pointed out that amp to Steve. I think he wanted it more than I did. I like a few if the other amps Peter built better.
Anyway it was a bit over $2000. Bob Rock was selling it and he was just asking the current going price of a VH4.

A Corgan owned VH4 worth more than a Dumble??? Oh I don't think so. In fact not even close; since the cheapest Dumble might fetch what, 60K??
No VH4 is worth even close to that. I don't care WHO owned it. It's not even a Blueface, which are known to have unreal tone the silver face cannot approach.
EDIT: I see it's blue face spec. But still, no chance it's Dumble territory.

I once owned 2 x '72 Marshall Super Lead 100 heads that once belonged to Allen Collins. What they would be worth now... ?

I don’t think I’ve seen any Dumbles listed for less than 90k. Dumble modded Fender’s though can be half that price though or a bit less and some guys I’ve talked to who’ve tried them say they can sound just good or even better in some ways. I’ve only tried one Dumble so far

So far, from those who are active on the forum, the following holds true:

1) The dumble
2) Psychodave’s 67/68 plexi
3) The 69 plexi mentioned

My two original 68 Marshall Plexi's #10249 & #12182 and Marshall slant cab(original speakers) that I got from the legendary Eric Johnson...used both live and on his records.

Confirmed blue face spec and one of the very first silver face plates by Peter Diezel actually. I didn’t say it was anywhere near a Dumble.

If you look at my post, I was quoting another poster who did. I never said YOU compared it to a Dumble value.

I love the lite humor from you guys on here! We need that for sure these days.
I cant compete for most expensive amp although I do currently own a mint iic+, 2 colis, friedmans, bogners, elmwoods, vhts, blackface fenders, and 2 20 spaces bradshaw racks- with a serial #1 prototype custom badcat preamp that I was to name...oh,and a footpedal that makes hurricanes, storms, and a fire siren.
....in all seriousness tho- I was on here when Steve k was too.He had the best of every thing amp wise.Id say he would win.
