Logged in to the Cloud and searched USER 'Neural DSP' and there's a bunch of presets and captures available

There's dozens of captures of all channels for:
Hot Rod Deluxe
Silver Jubilee 2555
Mesa JP-2C (many, many more than were included on the unit.)

Ever played a Neural plug-in?
I predict the QC is going to reign supreme in very little time - barring any major QC or design bugs.
playing the neural plugins are the reason i decided to jump on the QC. I have a kemper it sounds great in the mix but its pretty boring jamming through headphones.

anyone in this thread get their QC yet?
I've had mine for a couple months now. My amps have been collecting dust. Firmware 1.1 is going to come out in the next couple of weeks with over 100 changes(bug fixes, improvements, and a few new effects).

I've owned a Kemper and an HX stomp before this. This imho is like the offspring of Kemper and Helix. I have watched all the post of people bitching and it's funny to me. "I tried to use 7 delays and 5 reverbs at the same time and couldn't do it!!" "This doesn't have any (insert rare amp that they have never heard irl before) this is bullshit!"

We are at a point with digital where there you won't have the huge improvements as you did 12 years ago when the Kemper and first axe fx was released.. And seeing people complain about features it should have immediately after release have forgot what it was to have v1 of a product. I had a Kemper for only 6 months but during that time there were a couple big upgrades that improved it immensely. And fractal, I definitely remember the post of people bitching after launch. Not to mention the versions of new hardware that come out every couple years. Even the Axe 3 is on mk2. They have barely gotten out the pre-orders and the fact that it's as good as it is even with dealing with a pandemic and now a chip shortage is saying a lot in my opinion.

It comes down to what do you need. I wanted something that I wasn't constantly having to buy professional profiles that I was always tweaking like the Kemper. And something user friendly like the HX stomp.

The QC has been that for me. I don't want to have to add a bunch of eq blocks, tweak sag settings etc. I just want to select an amp and a cab and play. The only complaint I had was the wah didn't have an auto engage feature which is coming out in a couple weeks. I am not the type of person who is going to raise hell cause I can't get the right flanger settings to try to copy EVH. The fact that they have said they built this to have a long life span is cool with me(currently they said it's basically using 5 percent of its capabilities).

Did anyone post this yet?

Just skimmed through it. His accent is too thick to make it an easy listen.

I like the summation from this guy here. Not an AB shootout, just about the QC.

@Donnie B. Im loving the new firmware. Damn that was really quick honestly. The wah auto engage is damn near perfect. I have it that if I stop playing for a couple ms it shuts off. Also flanger is one of those effects that I had fun with 30 years ago and was a kid but I was having a lot of fun with it. Even got me playing barracuda from heart. Even the old flanger sounds better.

The boot up time wasnt a problem for me but they really did make it a lot faster. Like I didnt really pay attention to how long it was before then after the firmware upgrade it was obvious.

The shimmer reverb is excellent too. I am not a big effects kind of guy but I went through the presets I made where I put reverb on for a lead tone and swapped it out with the shimmer reverb.

I was tempted to get an FM3 and pocket the difference but thankfully I changed my mind. If this is only 1.1 imagine what we are going to get with v2.0. There was like a 100 changes with this one.

It's so funny when I read folks saying unit A is better than unit B because it boots faster.

I mean, didn't you people let your tube amps idle for a couple minutes before slamming power chords?

I timed the update just for yucks.
Total boot time: 33 seconds.
I can't even take a piss in 33 seconds.

Like you said, the QC isn't even close to being 1 year old and it's already amazing.
Going to be fun seeing this baby keep maturing over the next year or so.

I didn't have any issue with the bootup time but damn if it didn't catch me off guard after the update. I usually power it up then get situated, grab a pick, fiddle with the volume on my monitor and on my guitar. This time it came up before I had my volume adjusted on my monitors and scared the hell out of me.

But yeah I think we are going to be in for a lot of surprises before v2.0 gets here

@ClintN667

I've given it a few days to be sure but to my ears, pretty much everything
sounds and feels 'better' (too hard to describe with just one word).
I've gone back and re-auditioned some of the stock models and captures I'd
passed on previously and they all sounded a bit more legit.

There's ZERO doubt the original delays and reverbs are improved.

Wondering if you're hearing this too.

You guys have me hyped to update mine. Line 6 sent me a Helix floor unit to play with but truthfully, I'm way more excited about the QC!

The two new FX are awesome ear candy on par with anything (even Strymon pedals IMO)

I have it. Soundwise I find that It lacks a little dynamics. I want better cleanup with volume roll-off without losing as much treble. The hi-gain sounds need more work, and the cabs sound too scooped. However, the user interface is very good and with updates, I think it's going to be a great unit.

Yeah they definitely tweaked something cause even the standard delays and reverbs have gotten better.

And the old flanger sounds good now. It's weird I hated it but now I actually like it a lot.

I feel like this feels closer to an Amp in the room vs the Kemper or hx stomps I had. I honestly have only powered up my Mark iv once since getting it. I'm getting a KSR Ares in the next week or so and a monomyth skeleton key in the next month or two. For the first time I'm questioning whether I really want any amps.

@Bad.Seed the line 6 stuff is pretty good but it's not as easy to dial in imho. Like the QC you can dial in an amp like you normally would and you get a good tone. The line 6 stuff needs some tweaks and extra eq'ing. I think I have a couple Helix packs. If I still have them I will email them to you this morning.

So I've been debating getting another Fractal unit (I actually played more when I had it and could just plug in and go) or trying a Kemper or the QC. Listened to some A/Bing of the Kemper vs Axe III and the few I listened to the Kemper won out. Now I'm thinking maybe I just go QC, unless I find a stupid deal on a Kemper. LoL.

But I love what I'm hearing here from owners and love my Nolly plugin.

QC plug-ins are the bees knees! They are my go-to over AT5, Bias, and Helix Native. Almost as good as Fractal.

Be cool to see some signal chains.
This is the one I use for every preset.

qc.jpg

exp pedal > boost > pitch FX > AMP > hp/lp filters
tape saturation > delay > modulation > reverb > 9 band EQ

The two EQs are always on and then everything else is controlled by stomp
This takes up 39-40% of the CPU and I got it split so the load is being shared.
