Why Tucker was fired?

Love him or hate him, it can't be ignored that he was a big (perhaps VERY big) draw of viewership for FNC. Now that the Dominion trials have indeed sucked the air out of their credibility & ratings they are in trouble. Even so, I somehow doubt Rupert is all that worried about it with his billions, hence whacking Carlson.

~~~~~
Post 2016, DJT was the gift that kept giving (for FNC) up until relatively recently. The whole populist anamoly (curse to the opposition) of DJT was an unexpected surprise and boon economically to FNC! How times have changed! DJT going from ratings gold status to general purpose albatross.
Yes......Tucker made many enemies. He also took on issues and subject matter his Fox peers would not. As all the rest he is no saint.
I could be very wrong about all of this, but I believe FOX will have a hard time filling the spot with someone drawing the same viewership as Carlson. Not to mention the fear the event has instilled in those that remain. It wouldn't surprise me to see Bartiromo, Ingraham, and Hannity follow.
Actually, FOX did Tucker a favor.
I'll wager he'll do much better on his own. Much, much better than he could ever do on the Murdoch Plantation. Meagan Kelly and Bill O'Reilly don't seem to be hurting one bit since their departures, although their exits didn't happen under the same conditions.
Up until just a couple months ago, I watched many; FNC, ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, Newsmax.
I joined the ranks of "cable cutters".
They all lie. Just like the politicians they cover. All of them. Actually, I believe they always have to some extent, and/or at least frame/twist the issues to suit the partisan agenda d'jour. Watch them all if so inclined, but carefully and critically and this will be revealed. It is nothing profound.
I no longer have "a dog in the hunt". I will ride the apolitical buss for a rest. Depending how important any issue in life is, I will simply read/vet/filter what I want to know on my own, even then knowing there is still no way I'm getting all the facts. Beyond that (this post being an exception of course) will mostly keep my opinions to myself. That might change with time...we'll see.
These days, with rare exception I find you can't have a genuine civil discussion about these things as people have become overly emotionally invested in their partisan darlings. Just the way it is. I've done it too, but no longer. Our government and media have morphed into a non-partisan cabal of organized crime. There's always been corruption through the years waxing and waning, but today its flagrant and in your face with impunity and absolutely no apologies.
The whole thing is a polite reminder the only things I have control over is mostly what's in front of me, and actually how I respond to it. My old ass doesn't have much longer here on the blue warm planet. I'll be damned if I'm going to let all this frivilous, nebulous bullshit come between things and people I love and care about, which includes all you folks here at RT. I'll respect your views and beliefs even if you don't respect mine.
~~~~~

But, Tucker will land on his feet and be better off. I'm relatively certain of that.

Fox fires
@TuckerCarlson
five days after he crosses the red line by acknowledging that the TV networks pushed a deadly and ineffective vaccine to please their Pharma advertisers. Carlsonā€™s breathtakingly courageous April 19 monologue broke TVā€™s two biggest rules: Tucker told the truth about how greedy Pharma advertisers controlled TV news content and he lambasted obsequious newscasters for promoting jabs they knew to be lethal and worthless. For many years, Tucker has had the nation's biggest audience averaging 3.5 million ā€” 10 times the size of CNN. Fox just demonstrated the terrifying power of Big Pharma.
