Kirk's bad lead player but I still love Metallica. What does that have to do w. anything about my comments regarding Yngwie's cover of Mr. Crowley? If I hear some Metallica covers, it's nice to hear someone do better job than Kirk.

Considering it's you making the comments, it has everything to do with this thread.

So if I like Metallica's music (not Kirk's lead playing) I can't say that Yngwie's playing kills Randy's playing?

Not really sure what your comment is about here considering I don't care for Randy and love Malmsteen, but whatever. And if I recall correctly, it was actually you that cries during Metallica songs. Are you sure you don't need those tissues for yourself?

There is only one player I can think of that got a good tone from a strat and sc's......and Yngwie copied him something fierce......

The problem with Yngwie is that he doesn't listen to any changes or underlying grooves...he just plays Yng lick #1 followed by # 2, #3, # 4 etc....then when he improvises a little he goes #3, #1, #4, #2....he's still on the search for #5
