I was about to put this........my favorite tone ever :thumbsup:

For pure brutal, I like the tone on Stampin' Ground's "New Darkness Upon Us".

 
this is kind of a wierd question because there are some tones that I personally wouldnt use or that wouldnt fit well with me but work great with that band. I like the tone on ride the lightning, south of heaven, and motorheads ace of spades.
 
Metallica. Although I don't particularly care for the album, fuel had some pretty awesome tone. Black album of course. And Justice For All...
