I just bought a Herbert and shouldn’t have. The wifey will not be happy when she discovers this one? Unfortunately I may have to let it go. I just love the massive tight low end of the Herbert. It is to me the king amp. My other amps just can’t touch it. Is there an amp out there for $1k or less...
I need a simple fs just to switch through the amps functions. I’m not looking for anything crazy. Just a simple and compact switch to gig with. Thanks!
I just purchased a v1 Cobra that been modded. I just want to return it to stock and the only schematic I can find is the v5. Thanks in advance.!
I have a SpecOp and I really like the voicing but there are several things about the tone that I dislike. I was going to mod it myself but I can't get a schematic. I tried to contact Diamond, but I never go a response. I know that they are dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Harvey. No...
I know this topic is a little silly and is totally subjective. I'm fishing for opinions because I'm having a hard time deciding what amp to buy. Also I know he played a Metalhead Modded JCM800. Used to own a FJA FD Marshall. That amp was killer but it didn't resemble that album tone at all...
I can't find a clear schematic for this thing anywhere. Bass, mid, treble, and pres is not responding. All resistors and electrolytics check out. Stumped so far. I think it may have a bad pot. Ideas?
I just purchased a Splawn Promod that has a few issues. It's an older model('05) and Scott doesn't have schematics for older models. I know it's asking alot but can somebody snap a pic of R31&32 and of the footswitch board? The only ones that I can find on google are too blurry. Thanks!
I'm in search of a minimum 50w tube amp head for modding. Current amps I'm considering are Valveking 100, Windsor, Crate BV120 and Bugera 1960. It has to be cheap cheap! $200-300 range. This poor subject amp a probably going to be gutted at least 10 times. It is going to be a high gain project...
Like the title says I need a schematic for my Armageddon. It's making a slight motorboating noise on startup and goes away after about 5-10 seconds. I know how to work on amps safely. Blad at Egnater is no help at all. Thanks for any help.
I got the Bias mobile version just for headphone practice so I really wasn't hoping for a poor mans AxeFx, but this crap is barely usable. It's noisy, has bad sound quality and seems to have a little delay in signal. I'm using the Positive Grid interface. Do I need to upgrade my interface? Thanks!
My Armageddon is pretty killer but it's a little too dark for me. My guitars are loaded with BKP Warpigs, cab is loaded with Greenbacks and V30's, and I'm boosting with a TS9. The amp is loaded with stock 6l6's biased at 35ma. Should I change something in my chain or should I mod? I know my way...
It's my turn to buy an Amplifire and I'm having second thoughts about buying it. Mainly because of the lack of info but I also haven't heard any clips that I like. I thought that the Amplifire and the ISP power amp could be a killer pedal board rig but I'm thinking I may have to pass. I don't...
