Is this symptomatic of bad tubes, or...? I tried pulling both EL84s (running on 6V6), same thing; then I tried pulling both 6V6s (running on EL84s) and same thing. Are they just all dying at the same time, or...? This is strange. Anyone else see this before?

I bought this fun strat from a local used shop because... well basically because it looked like a beat up nicely worn pair of blue jeans and had a great MIM maple Fender neck. The thing is, the strings action is just slightly too high for my tastes. The truss rod doesn't want to tighten much...

I have the matching 2x12 cab on order, should be here Friday. I played it a bit through my mesa rectifier cab... sounded great. Anyone know how the V30s sound in the Egnater 2x12? I'm usually not a fan of V30s, but I HAVE heard them sound good in a few different cabs (bogner, etc..)
