You rang?

I had to add a little Palmer switching thingy to be able to hook up 2 cabs in series, since the Savage 60 just has 1 8 Ohm output and 1 16 Ohm, but it sounds glorious with both Marshall cabs.

Sick.

I always thought those were sweet looking, just never snagged one. I'd love to compare to a 120 in the room though. I love the form factor of those 60 models.

There are some functions of the 120 that I'd like to have, but the 60 is extremely versatile. Heck, I've played in a soul/funk coverband (weddings, new years eve stuff n' shit) with the Savage 60 and a strat about 20 years ago. :ROFLMAO:

It still does the cascading gain thing (where Rhythm channel Gain influences the Lead channel's gain), which is great. But switching from ultra clean to brutal death gain isn't gonna happen on the 60. You'd probably need the 120 for that. From ultra clean gain to a big heavy metal tone works fine though.

Up until you mentioned tiddies, I was close to believing you πŸ˜‚

Cum again?

The only one worth owning imo
Buried my Fireball 100
Way tighter

I've had the 120 in the room with a fireball. Agree for sure. Nasty mids slapped the fireball around.

The one I haven't tried, and want to is that new special edition. And I've always wanted to try the more rare Savage Special Edition too.

I see a pro wanker πŸ˜‚

Wankers use boosts and or do nothing but weedly weedly weeee sounds.

Did you vote for Kamala? Because
you make the same amount of sense.
....just curious.

I am just implying that you never seen a real pair. You know, a joke. Ever heard of them? 😁

Also our mentality is even more conservative that even the most conservative americans if anything 😁

I love jokes....
Hence the kamala mention lol.

But I do take tiddies quite seriously.
They are a staple in my life.

Have you not seen how good I look?
Cmon. You know I've had plenty a teet in my day.
πŸ˜‚ I know you are clowning me and it's ok.

I've never even tried a Savage 120 before but I do know that I need to own one. Does it have its own Character or does it sound like anything in the 5150 family?

To me.... it sounds vastly different than a 5150 family. Way more surgical. Defined. And angry in the mids. I prefer the way it feels to a 5150 also, but I don't mind how a 5150 feels at all... just prefer the savage by quite alot. I've had the 5150, 6505+, 6534+, and played the EVH version. I'll choose a savage every single time. And for what it's worth I preferred old GE 6550 in it. But those are expensive and hard to find sometimes so if it ain't those.... JJ kt88 all day.

And to expand on that the red button has slightly bigger transformers. But interestingly enough.... I prefer the orange button version to it with the original transformers.
