Deep switch and Depth knob on back. Bunch of EQ saw itches up front. The 2 gain knobs is definitely interesting. Reminds me of the Fortin Meshuggahs I have with the knob layout.

Yeah, he mentions it pretty hard in the recent rig rundown, and in the Beato interview. Def got the impression he wants a Bogner collab from the way he talking about how much he loves the Fish again. Acknowledges the Friedman amp, but was very focussed on mentioning a lot how much he is loving the Bogner gear again.. hint hint Reinhold ;)
Could be a pretty sweet amp.
 
Never had the fish bc the stock version wasn't anything like the modded versions. Any more info on the fish to be released?
 
I’ve played the production amp. I’m not saying anything else out of respect for Reinhold since it hasn’t been released yet officially.

No, I’m not implying in any way that there’s anything wrong with it. Only relating the fact I don’t want to jump the gun on someone else’s amp.

That’s too bad to hear. I hope it at least doesn’t have that filtered/inorganic sound like the Uber Ultra I had or what I also heard in the JB45 clips. I can though, like Ben Waylin said, see the snorkler not being for everyone. The clips I heard of the snorkler mods sounded great to me as was the one Bogner modded Marshall I had. If it’s anything like those I’d be impressed with it, but a filtered version of that sound like the UU was to the early Uber’s would be a big bummer for me

If it has that sound I’ll love it. If it ends up being a filtered/sterilized version of that sound like the UU I’ll hate it lol. Fingers crossed it’ll sound organic and good like the Helios or Telos. It at least looks similar enough to those lol

Thanks for clarifying. High hopes for this one. Haven’t been disappointed by any bogner products I’ve played.

Dual gains are commonly found on most hot-rodded Marshalls. All a gain control is, is a pot in place of a resistor. A lot of builders want to keep things simple for the end user, so they pick a value they like and hard wire it in with a resistor so the end user doesn't have another control to set wrong lol.

Personally, I like it only for some leads when recording tracks.

It's not very useful (to me) for rhythm tracks.

I used mine for the harmony parts and solo stuff on this here track..
