    As long as you do not care about resale value. I would play it for a good while and then decide if it's a keeper. That thinkg looks sweet. The wood looks like a good one.

    It was a converted C. Killer amp but not as big sounding as that III black Dot 105PT. That III had a massive tone.

    Sounds good. The footprint is what I am interesed in. I had a new JPC next to a Mark III++ 105 PT and the III++ destroyed it and made it sound thin and small, but that amp made my 2C++ sold on the small side but not as bad as the JPC. I sold it immediately. How does the VII stack up?

    If you are positive it is that part, just clip it out, heat and pull the old leads out. You can solder topside to install a new one. Not difficult at all. Or you can clip the leads off and solder the new part to those leads
