I can recommend you a Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier Rect-o-verb. It has a dedicated clean channel that is not at all like it's big brothers the Dual and Triple. I like the cleans on mine and it has a toggle mode for 'clean' and 'pushed'. So outside of the channel...

He had a very particular posting style. Something that would probably be hard for him to break. But he liked Van Halen and conspiracy theories. So even though I don't read or follow those types of stories, they are fun to banter about on a guitar gear website.

A lot of my favorite bands, including 311, use 5 string basses. Seems it would be hard to slap bass while ignoring the low B :dunno:
