I’ve had almost every version of it, EL34 silver and green back, 6l6 green and 20th. The 20th and the regular Shiva are different amps, IMO. The 20th is more fluid while the regular is very unforgiving. I didn’t bond with the 20th. The regular Shiva sounds better than the 20th IMO. More growl...

Never owned a 4x12. Just picked up an old Marshall 1960a. The cabinet has a 4ohm and 16ohm jacks for inputs. Which output of my amp do I use? 4, 8, 16? thanks

Don’t do what I did and fill it with dumb, nerdy Star Wars nicknacks and ratty old posters. My studio looks like my bedroom in junior high. I need to redo it for an adult when I get the ambition.

I was surprised how good the clean channel on the Plexi side is. Very fat and clear with the B1 or 2 engaged, and takes drive pedals really well.

Just pickedup a Bogner Helios 50. Best gain channel I’ve ever experienced. Just perfect.

Same. I had mine in the shop 4 times in 2 years. Traded up for a Bogner Shiva. From what I’ve heard, the DSL cuts big time. Probably why so many pro’s use them.
