I have a really bad feeling that something is going to happen tomorrow that will change the world forever. Not kidding.
This looks like a setup.

Not to you at all. Play on DanishDon’s name.
However, given that you’ve proven yourself time and again to be an overly reactionary ASSHOLE that has TERRIBLE taste in amps, you can certainly fuck off and die.
The Splawn IS the terrible amp
Whatever dude. How was I supposed to know it was not directed at me? You posted with no context after I posted twice. In my own thread. I'd say my response to you was pretty civilized I wrote it that way on purpose. It appears you are the one that is overly reactionary. PS: And because you can't read, I have a Splawn Quick Rod and a Mesa Rectoverb in addition to my terrible amps
Why don't you show us some pictures of your best amp(s)The Splawn IS the terrible amp
What’s so bad about the splawns? People seem to love them. Basically hot rodded Marshall right? The Splawn IS the terrible amp

I had two. One new one used. Both were full of cold solder joints. One had an arcing half power switch. The one I bought new went back to be looked at and came back with the aforementioned problems. A local tech had to fix it for me. Supposedly the cold solder joints were due to low lead solder being implemented around that time, that seemed like a large scale problem waiting to happen so I dumped the amp. Never again. What’s so bad about the splawns? People seem to love them. Basically hot rodded Marshall right?
That was a one off situation and you know it. That's cool. Everyone is allowed to their opinion. I think @MetalHeadMike had a similar issue. But the rest of the 1,000's that were built are fine. Scott Splawn is a stand up guy and has some of the best customer service around.I had two. One new one used. Both were full of cold solder joints. One had an arcing half power switch. I have heard that so that's good.Scott Splawn is a stand up guy and has some of the best customer service around.
Two different amps separated by a years worth of production ? Yeah… one off problem. The amp I bought new went back to Splawn and was declared problem free, then I had to give it to a local tech to “fix” it, ya he’s a real great guy. That was a one off situation and you know it. Now. Where's that picture of your rig?
I've heard similar stories about the quality but also heard they have great customer service. I believe both to be true for the most part but I won't buy one anytime soon. Two different amps separated by a years worth of production ? Yeah… one off problem. Per your last sentence; I thought the same thing when it was announced that a US carrier group was headed to the area….to ensure the conflict doesn’t widen. Which is exactly what they’re doing.I also think part of the problem is that we as Americans….and I would say most Europeans….kinda look at this stuff in ignorance. We don’t understand these people. We don’t understand how they think or their culture. And being totally honest I don’t want to understand or know it either. Israeli or Palestinian…my best friend was a marine who survived the embassy bombing in Beirut. We have no business involving ourselves everywhere. It just costs us in blood and money. Why?
Hamas took the easy route and grabbed the women. You just know life is hell for them right now.H
Hot. I mean two thirds of them.
